Ann McKenna, M.S., R.D., L.D.N., part-time faculty is the supervised practice instructor for ND 490, Medical Nutrition Therapy II (CP), and she teaches ND 223 Social and Cultural Foods. She possesses clinical knowledge and skills, and has over thirty years of clinical experience in the field of nutrition and dietetics. As a practitioner in private practice, she serves institutions, providing both clinical and administrative services. Mrs. McKenna is also committed to community work with the Head Start Program. She has also worked with culturally diverse groups through this program. Attendance at workshops in clinical areas is a priority to keep herself abreast of current topics and treatments. She is also a board member of the North East Dietetic Association and the recipient of state, district, and community awards.
