Sister M. Alphonsa Concilio, I.H.M. has received an A.B., B.M. and M.A.degree from Marywood University and a M.A. Degree from St. Louis University. Sister has done further graduate work at Westminster Choir College, Manhattan School of Music, Amherst College, Universityof Minnesota, and Marywood University. In addition she has studied voice privately with Dr. Thomas Houser, New Holland.

Teaching experience has been in all areas of education - primary, secondary and university. This experience has included classroom teaching, especially languages and music education - both choral experience and private teaching. Her career at Marywood has primarily been that of teaching private voice and voice related classes.  With Dr. William Reed she co-founded a special voice program - PROJECT VOICE - which has resulted in a very strong voice program.

Vocal coach for the biannual musical for the following shows: Carousel, Oklahoma, Irene, Camelot, Music Man, Mame, George M, Guys and Dolls, Pippin, Chorus Line, Will Rogers Follies, and Peter Pan.
