Words of wisdom: Do what your passionate about, and never stop working towards your dreams!

Career aspiratons: Teaching Spanish in grades 7-12

What do you appreciate most from your Marywood education: I'm really glad I decided to attend a college with a strong appreciation for the liberal arts. I learned an incredible amount of information from classes that I never would have taken otherwise. Besides studying Education and Spanish, I was given the opportunity to broaden my horizons and see what's really out there. Without the liberal arts perspective, I wouldn't be the well-rounded individual that I am today.

Words of wisdom: It's all good. Don't stress out about every little thing.

Career aspiratons: High School French Teacher

What do you appreciate most from your Marywood education: I appreciate all of my Education teachers. They were very helpful in preparing me to teach and they were there to answer any questions I had. Also, my Study Abroad experience was wonderful in France. I got to meet a lot of new friends and I still keep in contact with them now that I'm back in the US. By studying in a foreign country you get a new appreciation of the culture and language that you are studying.

Activities while at Marywood: captain of MU Dance Team, president of MU Dance Ensemble, Kappa Delta Pi, La Raza

Career aspiratons: To become a Spanish and ESL teacher at a local high school.

What do you appreciate most from your Marywood education: I love the beautiful campus and the fact that I am so close to home. I also love being immersed in the language that I am studying with advanced classes that push me to try harder than usual and to do my personal best. Dance team is also a huge part of my college life, and I absolutely love being on the team and working with such a great group of ladies.
