GENERAL REQUIREMENTS:

The internship should include a minimum of 300 hours of administrative experience. However, the actual length of the internship experience will be based on meeting the objectives of the proposal submitted to the University Supervisors. Once the proposal is accepted, a contract exists between the student and the internship site as well as between the student and the University. Students are expected to fulfill this contractual agreement even if more hours are necessary than originally anticipated.

Internships are usually arranged during the fall and spring semester to assure meaningful administrative experiences. Internships that focus on the summer may be arranged under unusual circumstances depending on the intern's previous experience and current situation. However, such internships will typically require additional activity in the fall and/or spring.
