DEPARTMENT OF
COMMUNICATION SCIENCES AND DISORDERS
Marywood's program provides students with academic course
work and clinical experiences that prepare them to pursue
graduate degrees in speech-language
pathology, audiology or deaf studies. The department
is housed in the McGowan
Center on the Marywood University campus. The
department provides opportunities to participate in the
Speech and Hearing Club,
keep up with current department information via the
department newsletter,
participation in the on campus speech-language-hearing
clinic as well as the capacity to meet and interact
with students on
all different levels in their path to becoming a speech
-language pathologist. Our faculty
and staff are committed to providing students with
many opportunities for academic growth and clinical
experiences. Current knowledge of topics is introduced and
students are closely advised as they pursue pre-professional
training in speech-language pathology, audiology, or deaf
studies.
