SPEECH AND HEARING CLINIC   Our clinic is housed in our department based in the McGowan Center. We currently have 6 therapy rooms, two diagnostic rooms, and a play group/child language group room. Each room is monitored through closed circuit video-cameras as well as two-way windows. The undergraduate and graduate student clincians run the clinic, seeing from 1 to 4 clients each (depending on if undergraduate or graduate). These clients range from 1 and 1/2 years to 70+ years of age. Therapy is for individuals with speech and language delay and deficits, articulation and phonological deficits, aphasia, cognitive deficits, apraxia and dysarthria, and individuals who are hearing impaired or have had cochlear implants. Our clinic also works in conjunction with the English as a Second Language Program and provides therapy to student with articulation differences. The clinic population is currently around 45 clients per semester. Clinic sessions are 45 minutes in length starting on the hour. Our clinic runs Monday through Thursday 9-5 and Fridays 9-12. Appointments are usually scheduled for 2 times per week, however, some clients choose to come one time per week only. Also included as part of our clinic is the adult Aphasia Group, run by Dr. Janet Bisset. Currently 10-15 clients participate in this weekly group session.   PICTURES...PICTURES....PICTURES March 7th the clinic held it's annual spring party ...fun was had by all. On November 2nd our annual fall harvest party was held...check out the pictures.
