Students may spend three years at Marywood University fulfilling the university requirements and those of the National Accrediting Agency for Clinical Laboratory Science (NAACLS). In this program, the students spend the fourth year at an accredited hospital. 2. Students who complete a baccalaureate program in Biology and who have the appropriate prerequisites, may also apply to any other accredited school of medical technology.   Marywood maintains affiliation with the schools of MT/CLS at: -Abington Memorial Hospital, Abington, PA -Robert Packer Hospital, Sayre, PA -Scranton Medical Technology Consortium, Scranton, PA   Some of the courses in this program are: Catalog # Course Title BIOL 121,121L & 122,122L Anatomy & Physiology BIOL 332 & 332L Immunology BIOL 421 & 421L Biochemistry BIOL 435 & 435L Microbiology BIOL 436 & 436L Clinical Bacteriology CHEM 331,331L & 332,332L Organic Chemistry MATH 216 Statistics for the Behavioral and Social Sciences PHYS 213,213L & 214,214L General Physics   Courses in the professional curriculum provide both theoretical and practical experience in the field of MT/CLS. The MT/CLS internship counts for 30 undergraduate credits.
