The teacher education program in biology is designed to prepare biology teachers for secondary schools (grades 7-12).  The program is accredited by the Pennsylvania Department of Education and by the National Council for Accreditation of Teacher Education.  Candidates seeking license to teach biology (grades 7-12), enroll as biology majors and education minors.
