Student Outcome Data

Each student is required to pass the national exam for Speech-Language Pathology (via the testing service PRAXIS) in order to apply for national certification in the field of Speech-Language Pathology.  The following percentages are the success rates of students passing the exam that have completed their education at Marywood Univeristy.

Percentage of students completing the Masters program within the established time frame:

• 2011-2012: 95% (21/22 students)
• 2010-2011: 100% (15/15 students)
• 2009-2010: 100% (20/20 students)
• 3 Year Average: 98%

Percentage of students passing PRAXIS within one year of their graduation :

• 2011-2012: 95% (20/21 students)
• 2010-2011: 100% (15/15 students)
• 2009-2010: 95% (19/20 students)
• 3 Year Average: 97%

Percentage of program graduates employed in the profession within one year of graduation:

• 2011-2012: 100% (21/21 students)
• 2010-2011: 100% (15/15 students)
• 2009-2010: 100% (20/20 students)
• 3 Year Average: 100%
