CSD Student Receives National Scholarship

Rebecca Skakal, who is a first-year graduate student in Marywood University's Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders, was notified that she was a recipient of a 2017 Graduate Student Scholarship supported by the National Student Speech-Language-Hearing Association (NSSLHA)Scholarship Fund.NSSLHA, through the American Speech-Language-Hearing Foundation, awarded 3 $5,000 scholarships this year. The scholarships are to supportstudents who are pursuing graduate education in the fields of speech-language pathology or audiology.This year's scholarships were formally announced at the annual convention of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association held inLos Angeles, CA on November 10, 2017.
