Marywood's program provides students with academic course work and clinical experiences that prepare them to pursue graduate degrees in speech-language pathology, audiology or deaf studies. The 5 year program that is offered through Marywood combines both undergraduate and graduate course work and clinical experience into a 5 year sequence. Limited availability is also offered to individuals that would like to enter solely the graduate portion of our degree program. The department is housed in the McGowan Center on the Marywood University campus. The department provides opportunities to participate in the Speech and Hearing Club, keep up with current department information via the department newsletter, participation in the on campus speech-language-hearing clinic as well as the capacity to meet and interact with students on all different levels in their path to becoming a speech -language pathologist. Our faculty and staff are committed to providing students with many opportunities for academic growth and clinical experiences. Current knowledge of topics is introduced and students are closely advised as they pursue pre-professional training in speech-language pathology, audiology, or deaf studies.
