Professional Continuing Education Update

Dear Participants:

Professional Continuing Education is currently working remotely in an effort to keep you, your family and the community as a whole as safe and healthy as possible. We appreciate your patience and understanding as we continue to address the evolving nature of COVID-19 and make decisions guided by our Mission and Core.

We understand your needs for continuing education credits to maintain your licensure and professional development requirements. With the health and safety of our campus community remaining our highest priority, we are planning upcoming professional continuing education opportunities.  We look forward to resuming operations in a manner that ensures the safety and well-being of all participants. Please check periodically for updates.

Any payments made towards previously scheduled courses can be refunded. Please contact us if you have any questions by emailing contedu@marywood.edu.

Thank you for your understanding during this time of change.  Please refer to marywood.edu/coronavirus for updates to our response and actions related to COVID-19.

Marywood 120 Hour Long-Term Care Program - Postponed

Due to the dynamic situation surrounding COVID-19 and in light of the fact that the program participants and instructors largely work in Long-Term Care, Marywood will postpone these offerings until the situation has stabilized.

The safety and well-being of our participants, students, instructors, and community are at the forefront of our decision. We will reschedule these offerings to ensure that our participants can meet the 120 Hour requirement.

Marywood's 120 Hour Long-Term Care Program is approved by the Pennsylvania State Board of Examiners of Nursing Home Administrators.
