Philanthropy Day

fəˈlanTHrəpē

The desire to promote the welfare of others, expressed especially by the generous donation of money to good causes.

Each year, the Student Alumni Association (SAA) celebrates Philanthropy Day - an annual observance celebrating charitable activities.

Why is Philanthropy Important?

Philanthropy provides opportunities. It means giving back to the community that gave to you. Philanthropy at Marywood enables us to build upon our strengths, enhance our student's university experience, and create environments where students excel. It grows our network of supporters who contribute to the long-term well-being of Marywood University.
