Kristen Spronz Celebrates more than two years as Brand Manager of the YMCA of The Rockies
Class of 2015
Kristen Spronz ’15 is celebrating more than two years as Brand Manager of the YMCA of the Rockies in Estes Park, Colorado – a position that has taken her all over the world.
Spronz, who majored in marketing with a minor in design (photography) from Marywood, started at the YMCA of the Rockies shortly after she finished her degree. In addition to being responsible forthe marketing, branding and PR/crisis communications of the organization, Spronz took on a number of opportunities to develop professionally all over the world.
Some of Spronz’s accomplishments include completion of an 18-month Global Leader Certification program, selection as a member of the US delegation for the World Council of YMCAs in Chiang Mai Thailand, attendance at the Youth Summit of the Americas in Mexico, and the implementation of diversity, inclusion and global innovation team at the YMCA of the Rockies.
Spronz said she credits her Marywood education for preparing her to take the initiative as she has done.
“Thanks to my experience at Marywood, I was able to step out of my comfort zone and get even more involved in my organization,” Spronz said. “Marywood taught me to get involved, and because of that, I have been able to travel the world with the YMCA.”
Spronz is currently completing the Change Agents Program, a two-year certification process with the World YMCA.
