Library and Instructional Technology Services Committee

Purpose and Function
The Library and Instructional Technology Services Committee advises the Assistant Vice President for Academic Affairs for Technology in

providing two-way communication and dissemination of information between the staff of the Learning Resources Center and the various constituents of the Marywood community;

providing long-range computer technology projections;

developing technological services, equipment, collection, and facilities.

Membership and Selection

Assistant Vice President for Academic Affairs for Technology (Chair)
Director of Library Services
Coordinator of Media and Distance Education Services
Coordinator of Training and User Support
Coordinator of Public Services
Coordinator of Broadcast Operations
Supervisor of the Education Department Curriculum Lab
One full-time faculty member from each college
One undergraduate student
One graduate student

Faculty members are appointed by the Provost and Vice President for Academic Affairs.
Students are selected by the Assistant Vice President for Academic Affairs for Technology.

Term
Faculty - two years with possibility of reappointment
Students - one year with possibility of reappointment

Meetings
Meetings are held at least twice a year.

10/16/07 - Coordinator of Instructional Technology Services and Coordinator of Distance Education combined under the title of Coordinator of Media and Distance Education Services.
