You are the Graduating Class of 2020, forever changed, forever formed, forever held in our hearts as a group of creative, courageous, and compassionate people for our time, ready to meet whatever the future may bring. You are unstoppable. You are resilient. And, the world is waiting for you!
If our mission and core values have taught us anything, it is to embrace the challenges that life throws our way and transform them into opportunities. As such, we will celebrate with a virtual Commencement event on our set date – August 15! ~ Sister Mary Persico, IHM, Ed.D. President
All Commencement Weekend online activities will be accessible August 14 and 15, 2020 via Marywood's homepage and the Commencement website. We are extremely disappointed that our original plans could not be realized, but we are committed to creating a distinctive virtual broadcast, designed just for you.
Congratulations again to the Class of 2020 and Welcome to the Marywood Alumni Association from Alumni Association Past President, Michelle Leggat Summers ’00. It is our pleasure to virtually welcome you to a community of over 30,000 colleagues from Marywood University.

About Commencement Photos
Marywood University partnered with GradImages to compile a virtual slideshow. Photos that were received by the submission deadline of June 30, 2020, were used in the virtual slideshow. The June 30 deadline for photo submissions required strict adherence to produce the best Commencement experience for all graduates and their families. While we did our best to include all photo submissions, we apologize in advance if any photos were omitted.
Circumstances beyond the University’s control necessitated taking an in-person Commencement ceremony and transforming it into a virtual Commencement. Photos received by the aforementioned deadline have been implemented for use. August 2020 graduates will be included in the 2021 Commencement Ceremony. The images contained on this site are for campus web content use ONLY. Any other requests for photos need to go through Marywood University’s Office of Conference and Events.
Please note that individual colleges and the University Registrar determine whether or not official graduation requirements have been met. Some students may need to meet additional requirements to graduate and receive a diploma but have been permitted to participate in this presentation with special considerations. However, being listed in the presentation does not officially indicate graduation from Marywood University as part of the Class of 2020.
If you have any question please contact the Dean of your College/School
