Important Dates to Remember

Summer Session 2008

Summer Session I
4/23/08 Last day to register and receive a bill.
4/24/08 Payment must now accompany registration form.
5/07/08 Summer Session I 2008 Due Date for students who received a bill.
5/23/08 A $30.00 Late Fee will be charged on registrations received on or after this date.
5/27/08 Summer I 2008 begins.
5/29/08 Last day to register/add classes.
6/02/08 Last day to drop courses & receive 100% refund/cancellation of tuition and course fees.
Summer Sesssion II/III 2008
5/27/08 Last day to register and receive a bill.
5/28/08 Payment must now accompany registration form.
6/11/08 Summer Sessions II & III 2008 Due Date for students who received a bill.
6/27/08 A $30.00 Late Fee will be charged on registrations received on or after this date.
6/30/08 Summer II 2008 begins.
7/04/08 No classes. Office Closed.
7/02/08 Last day to register/add classes
7/07/08 Last day to drop courses & receive 100% refund/cancellation of tuition and course fees for Summer II 2008.

Withdrawal:

Students who decide not to attend must notify the Academic Records Office in writing or drop classes via the web, by June 2, 2008 for Summer I and by July 07, 2008 for Summer II in order to receive a reduction of charges. Non-attendance or non-payment does not constitute notification of withdrawal.

Unearned Financial Aid:

Financial aid received by students who withdraw may also be adjusted. In accordance with current federal regulations, those students who receive federal financial aid and who withdraw from the University during the first 60% of a semester will have their federal financial aid adjusted based on the percent of the semester completed prior to withdrawal. A detailed explanation of the federal policy and withdrawal/refund dates are available from the Cashier's Office.

7/18/08 Payment must now accompany registration form.
8/04/08 Fall Semester 2008 Due Date for students who received a bill.
8/22/08 A $30.00 Late Fee will be charged on registrations received on or after this date.
8/25/08 Fall Semester 2008 begins.
9/02/08
  • Last day to register/add classes.
  • Last day to drop courses & receive 100% refund/cancellation of tuition and course fees for students charged per credit or block tuition students who withdraw from all classes.
  • Last day for part-time students to change status to full-time. Students will then be charged block tuition if registered for 12 – 18 credits, and $550.00 per credit for any credits over 18.
9/04/08 Deferred Payment #2 due.
9/03/08 { 80% Refund/Cancellation period begins.

9/09/08 { Last day to drop courses & receive 80% refund/cancellation of tuition and coursefees for students charged per credit or block tuition students who withdraw from all classes. Students owe 20% of charges.
9/10/08 { 65% Refund/Cancellation period begins.

9/16/08 { Last day to drop courses & receive 65% refund/cancellation of tuition and course fees for students charged per credit or block tuition students who withdraw from all classes. Students owe 35% of charges.
9/17/08 { 50% Refund/Cancellation period begins.
