Career Services: Career Fairs

picture of business professionalsEach year, Career Services sponsors career fairs. The fairs bring companies and businesses to campus, providing excellent vehicles for students to explore career opportunities in specific fields. They also give the companies a chance to advertise their opportunities to a large number of students.

Career fairs can be valuable to graduating students, non-graduating students and alumni. Non-graduating students are encouraged to explore internship opportunities, general career information, and long-term possibilities to help guide their course selection and influence their career direction.

Graduating students and alumni should look closely at specific positions that are available for full-time employment opportunities.

Marywood is an active member of the Northeast Pennsylvania Employment Consortium (NPEC) with King's College, Keystone College, Misericordia University, the University of Scranton, and Wilkes University.

NPEC will be hosting two virtual employment and internship fairs focused on specific industries:

  • Healthcare and Natural Science

       February 1 - February 29

  • Education, Social Science, and Business

       April 9 - May 18

A link to these virtual fairs will be posted when they become available.
