Volunteers in Action (VIA) is a club for students interested in community and on-campus service projects. Through club meetings, students have the opportunity to gather with others who have similar interests, to learn about and sign up for service opportunities, and to assist with planning events sponsored by the club. Everyone is welcome to attend. Meetings are scheduled every other Monday throughout the academic year and are held at 9:00 PM in the Fireplace Lounge, Nazareth Student Center.

The following is a sampling of some of the information & topics you will learn about during some of the Fall 2009 VIA Meeting; Additional agenda topics will be added for all meetings:
Monday, Aug 31st: Welcome back with a PIZZA PARTY kick-off for the year! This first gathering will provide an overview of the Club, opportunities to sign up for service projects, and an informational session about the Fall Break National Service Trip Program.
Monday, Sept 14th: Information about one-time and ongoing community service opportunities including (but not limited to) Homeless Outreach Programs, Friends Mentorship Program, Opportunities to service children and MORE!

Monday, Oct 12th:Overview of KIDSTUFF 2010 Program and recruitment for planning team; MORE!
Monday, Oct 26th: Information about a variety of community service opportunities, including some special holiday programs!
Monday, Nov 9th: Thanksgiving Adopt A Family - information for volunteers who will assist with prepping and delivering food baskets to families on Nov 21st, plus many other volunteer opportunities.
Monday, Nov 23rd: Informational Session:Summer Break National Service Trip Program to Colorado
