This webinar, titled Protecting Human Subjects in Qualitative Research: Ethical Considerations for IRBs and Researchers, will provide you with a better understanding of the issues that qualitative researchers face and introduce strategies to address these issues while recognizing the unique characteristics of the qualitative research process. Topics for discussion will include:

  • Differences between qualitative and quantitative research
  • Ethical issues
  • Strategies for minimizing harm to study participants

This webinar will be of interest to researchers involved in qualitative studies and reviewers of qualitative research protocols. Certificates of completion will be provided upon completion of an online evaluation.
