Register to Sponsor a Family (Through 11/12)
In partnership with United Neighborhood Centers, Campus Ministry invites departments, clubs, organizations, and individuals sponsor a family and provide a Thanksgiving dinner for them. Campus Ministry provides a food list and family information to those interested in sponsoring a family for this holiday. All family baskets must be delivered to families on the Sunday before Thanksgiving. Monetary donations made payable to Marywood University Campus Ministry also are a way for you to support this program. All money collected is used to purchase food and prepare baskets that will be delivered to families by Campus Ministry student leaders. For more information, contact Campus Ministry.
Volunteers at Marywood have been preparing baskets of food, filled with Thanksgiving essentials, to donate to needy families this week. In concert with the university's mission, the Adopt-a-family program helps to identify community needs.
For more information about Marywood's Adopt-a-Family program, please contact Sr. John Michele, IHM, assistant director of campus ministry, at (570) 348-6211 x2413 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
