The Marywood
University Bookstore is your full service bookstore. This means we
strive to provide you with the best selection of required new and
used textbooks, in stock when you need them.
The purchase of your textbooks is a necessity. These textbooks were chosen by your professors and are a requirement for each of your classes.
Marywood's Bookstore will offer both new and used textbooks whenever possible. Some textbooks have entered into newer editions, which limits the availability of used books. If available both new and used books will be purchased for each course.
Condition: Your books must be in good shape.
-Bindings, covers, and pages intact.
-Highlighted and underlined books are returnable as long as the text is legible.
Course Orders: At the end of the semester, once an instructor has submited his/her textbook order for the next term, the bookstore will be able to ensure you more back for your books. If your book is a current edition being used next term you will receive 50% of the new text price until the order for that course is filled.
Sometimes, due to pending orders, the bookstore can not offer 50% back on books. Encourage you instructors to submit their orders to the bookstore as soon as possible.
Current Editions and Old Editions Not Being Used on Campus: If your book has not been reordered for the next semester, but is current, we will pay you the book price offered by the national distributor.
Due to publishers issuing new textbook editions, old editions have little or no value.
