Marywood University School of Architecture's First Annual Design
Competition asked all 2nd, 3rd and 4th year architecture and interior
architecture students to submit designs for a sheltered, sustainable,
economic public toilet, changing room and information station at the
Lake Scranton water reservoir.
Of the 93 participants in this years design competition, Ms. Carrie
Frattali's (3rd year ARCH) scheme "Minimal Impact: A Loo for Joggers"
was selected by a jury of 14 architecture and interior architecture
faculty as exhibiting an exceptionally high merit. Three other designs
by Joseph Savo (3rd year ARCH), John Suda (3rd year ARCH)
and John Farjardo (2nd year ARCH) were also recognized as meritorious.
