Assistant Professors Matthew Mindrup and Joe Gluba have received a
grant for a project entitled Reconstructing Scranton, a recurring
short-term architectural installation that aims to provide visitors to
Scranton's First-Friday events with an opportunity to rediscover the
unique potential of under-utilized and/or neglected buildings,
alleyways and public spaces surrounding the Lackawanna Courthouse.
Adjunct Professors Michael Muller and Ruth Koelewyn of The Pop-Up
Studio will use their grant to create engaging, temporary, interactive
artworks. These works will be presented during one-time events that
will be both art happening and open forum for the exchange of ideas
between participants.
