Patrick Martin coordinates the Design-Build studio available to our third-year students and the Building Assemblies course. He also teaches second-year design studio and special topics studio Excercises in Design Fabrication.
His research interests include Design Build and Environmental Philosophy. He worked as an Architectural Intern for the Center for Integrated Studies in the Built Environment (CISBE) to develop Norwich University's DOE Solar Decathlon prototypical submission - The RAEV House.
His most recent publications include "Full-Scale Making with a Focus on Process Rather than Product" and "Material Assemblies: Alternative Mediums for Active Assimilation." These focus on his research into innovative teaching techniques in architectural studies. Both were presented at the national peer reviewed conference National Conference on the Beginning Design Student.
