Eastern Redbud/Judas Tree

Native to southeastern United States. Hardy to zone 5 if protected. Small deciduous tree grows to 35' tall and wide. Small pink pea-like flowers in early May are very showy. Leaves are heart shaped. Prefers full sun to part shade. Tends to be short lived.
