Early Alert

If you have a student in your class who has stopped attending class, is attending class  intermittently or is not completing assignments, this can be an indication of academically at-risk behavior.

We have created an Excessive Absence Form for faculty to complete and email to the Office of Retention and Advising at advising@maryu.marywood.edu. We will then follow up with the student and possibly the student's other instructors to see if it is happening in other classes as well.

If we can reach a student early in the semester, and provide solutions or referrals, we may be able to help the student get back on track.
