Athletic Training

Our athletic training education program (ATEP) has been designed to prepare the athletic training student to sit for the Board of Certification (BOC) exam. This is an entry-level exam for national verification as an athletic trainer. The fundamental knowledge and skills of the art of athletic training and the sports medicine concept will be addressed in classroom instruction, clinical experiences, and practical situations.
