Admissions: Programs of Study

Visual Arts (Clay, Sculpture, Painting, Photography, Printmaking)

The Master of Fine Arts program is designed to provide professional emphasis for persons with an intense commitment to their art who intend to become serious professional artists. Marywood’s MFA in Visual Arts can give you the opportunity to develop your conceptual and technical skills as professional artists. You can build a foundation for further professional growth and increase awareness of your role in contemporary society.

The Marywood M.F.A. program also offers an option for graduate students in the fine arts to complete a portion of their MFA degree requirements by studying in Florence, Italy. This opportunity is offered through collaboration with Studio Art Centers International (SACI) in Florence. For more information, visit the Graduate Study Abroad page.
