Earn a Second Master's in Just 12 Months

Students holding an MBA from ACBSP Region 10 or a recognized university or business school in India and South Asia can enter Marywood’s MS-MIS program.

“The Master of Science degree program in Management Information Systems provides maximum flexibility in the education of the information systems professional.”

The MS-MIS is normally a two-year, 36-credit hour program. But, for students with a completed MBA, Marywood will accept up to 18 hours of advanced standing credit from a recognized university or business school in India and South Asia, and will expect students to complete a minimum of 18 credit hours at Marywood University.

Students must submit a completed application to Marywood University and meet all criteria to be accepted into this program.

The MS-MIS Programs within the School of Business and Global Innovation are designated as STEM programs, providing international students with the additional option of Optional Practical Training (OPT) for the extended period of 29 months.

Our Intensive English Program (IEP) is designed for international students who want to improve their English proficiency for academic purposes, business, communication, careers, and culture.

While enrolled in the IEP, students will spend up to 20 hours each week in class.  Course work emphasizes English language skills as well as practical information for living and studying in the United States.  Marywood faculty is a community of competent and caring individuals who provide personal attention to each student.  Students are always welcome to meet with instructors outside of the class to address concerns or have questions answered.

Upcoming semesters for the IEP include:

  • January 2019 through May 2019
  • June 2019 through August 2019
  • August 2019 through December 2019

NEW! Mid-Semester Start Intensive English Program

We are accepting applications for mid-semester starts in our Intensive English Program (IEP).  This offer is for students who have previously been enrolled in an academic program, and who wish to transfer to Marywood University. If you have missed a semester start, and don't want to wait until the next semester, this is the perfect opportunity! 

Complete a 7-week Intensive English Program on our campus, and we will help you prepare for coursework at Marywood!

What do we need from you?

  • Official transcripts from all previously attended institutions
  • Citizenship/visa information
  • Proof of Financial Support
