Shane Pagnotti

About me:  I joined the Marywood Admissions staff in Fall 2011. With over five years of college admissions counseling experience, I am a seasoned veteran in recruiting students from Long Island, NYC, and New England.  In 2010, I earned a Master's of Business Administration degree from Misericordia University. Prior to that, I earned a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Sport Management from Misericordia University.  I currently reside in Fleetville, PA.

My interests: If it is winter, I am ice fishing.  During the summer, I enjoy sitting by a camp fire.  In the fall and spring, I can be found in a tree stand.  Other interests include the Boston Red Sox, New York Giants, ESPN, Discovery, NatGeo, and History channels. 

My favorite thing about Marywood:  Has to be the location. It is conveniently located near I-81, close enough to downtown Scranton, and has a safe residential neighborhood that surrounds campus.

My favorite place on campus: The Center for Athletics and Wellness is my favorite place on campus. It has a challenging climbing wall, large fitness center, and a jogging track that overlooks the basketball arena.

You'd never guess: I can re-lace a baseball glove.

My best advice: When it comes time to choose a school, make sure you feel comfortable at the university. Make every attempt to visit the campus more than once.  Meet with your potential professors and pick their brain.  Also, meet your future coach and teammates during a visit. This will make the decision process much easier.
