Marywood's program provides students with academic course work and clinical experiences that prepare them to pursue graduate degrees in speech-language pathology, audiology or Deaf studies. Our objectives are compatible with standards of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA). To be certified by this national accreditation body, one must complete a master's degree, a clinical fellowship, and pass a national examination. This certification allows the recipient to seek employment in any setting where speech-language pathologists or audiologists are found (clinics, hospitals, schools, private practice, etc.).
