Designed for students interested in positions in settings such as health clubs,YMCAs and YWCAs, corporate fitness, racquet clubs, recreation centers, fitness clubs,wellness centers, etc.
You'll develop an awareness of the relationship of health to all experiences and activities; become aware of the cognitive, affective and psychomotor aspects of fitness; and learn to create experiences which will promote health and physical development. You will be able to identify a specific interest area ,such as management, special education, nutrition, which will prepare you for your future career. You will complete two practicums in your area of interest.
