Athletic Training


Description

The Marywood University Athletic Training Education Program (ATEP) has been designed to prepare the athletic training student to sit for the Board of Certification (BOC) exam. This is an entry-level exam for national verification as an Athletic Trainer. The fundamental knowledge and skills of the art of athletic training and the sports medicine concept will be addressed in classroom instruction, clinical experiences, and practical situations. Upon completion of the course of study, in accordance with university standards, the athletic training student will be recommended for a Bachelor of Science Degree in Health and Physical Education, Athletic Training Major.
