Social Work

Description

The Master of Social Work curriculum is structured around foundation and advanced courses. Each semester builds upon knowledge from the previous semester, and the completion of the foundation courses is preparatory to advanced courses. Students choose one of two concentrations: Advanced Social Work Practice with Client Systems, or Administration in Social Work. The MSW program includes a wide range of electives to complement the curriculum and enable greater examination of practice issues and methodology. Field education provides students with first hand experience working with people in social agencies and settings under the supervision of qualified and experienced social work practitioners.
