Our Graduate Reading Program provides students with a balance of theory/research and practical techniques that prepare them to teach all aspects of literacy development. You will leave our program with many strategies to have a positive effect of literacy development, the ability to create techniques, and the ability to make sound judgments regarding any new strategies to which you will be exposed in your career. We will give you personal attention and mentoring during the program and also provide you with counseling on strategies for employment. We support those efforts with letters of recommendation. Often schools contact us when they wish to engage reading specialists, and we are pleased to recommend our students with confidence.
