Art Therapy Facilities
Classes are held in the Shields Center for Visual Arts and the Insalaco Center for Studio Arts, both equipped with the latest computers and 80,000 square feet of studio/gallery space.
Our art galleries provide the Marywood community and Northeastern Pennsylvania with noteworthy cultural events. The Mahady Gallery is a spacious and dramatic setting for the display of artwork. The Suraci Gallery maintains Marywood’s permanent collection of fine and decorative arts.
The Shields Center for Visual Arts houses the Maslow Collection, which includes over 500 works from 178 artists, including prints by noted artists Andy Warhol, Jasper Johns, Roy Lichtenstein, and Robert Rauchenber.
In addition, the art therapy program has its own gallery space, where artwork by art therapy students and faculty are regularly displayed.
