Joseph Jaworek, MA, ATR-BC is an Assistant Professor pro-rata and teaches in the graduate art therapy program at Marywood University.  Joseph is a registered and board certified Art Therapist with a private practice in Morris County, NJ.  He serves patients in the Emergency Department of Morristown Medical Center (NJ) under a grant from the Healthcare Foundation of NJ.  Joseph was elected to the Board of Directors of the American Art Therapy Association in 2012.  He has served on the Steering Committees of Arts in Healthcare NJ as well as the Cultural Access Network of the NJ Council for the Arts.

Mr. Jaworek received his B.S. from Northwestern University and his M.A. from New York University.  Mr. Jaworek has presented and lectured locally, nationally and internationally.  Joseph's most recent lecture "The Art of Loss:  Supporting Resiliency in Individuals Coping with Bereavement, Complicated Grief and Ambiguous Loss."  Steinhardt School Department of Applied Psychology, New York, NY.
