Ms. Krokus earned her B.A. in Conservation Ecology and Global Spirituality at Prescott College. After working in the field and spending two years in Turkey, she returned to the United States to study comparative religion and earned her Master of Divinity at Harvard Divinity School. Ms.Krokus is a (ABD) Ph.D. candidate at Boston University in the interdisciplinary University Professors program. She has taught in the greater Boston area and most recently at the University of Scranton and Muhlenberg College. Her interest in comparative religion involves immersion in both classical texts and contemporary religious practice and experience. Islam, particularly is Sufi tradition is of special interest. Other interests include the intersection of mystical thought and experience with social justice movements, environmental consciousness and everyday life.
