Mr. James Biagi is an Assistant Professor of Business and Managerial Science and teaches primarily in the fields of Accounting, Taxation and Business Law. He holds a Bachelors of Business Administration from Pace University where he majored in Accounting Information Systems and Juris Doctorate from SUNY Buffalo School of Law with a concentration in Taxation. Mr. Biagi is an Attorney admitted to practice in the courts of New York and also licensed Certified Public Accountant in that State.
He is a founding partner in the Goshen, New York law firm of Dickover, Donnelly, Donovan & Biagi, LLP and has worked in that capacity since June of 1998. His practice is concentrated in tax, estate planning, estate and trust administration and litigation and business transactions. He works extensively in representing both individuals and businesses with tax problems before the IRS and State taxing authorities.
Mr. Biagi was formerly employed as an auditor in the field of public accounting and as a trial attorney with the Office of Chief Counsel for the IRS. He is also admitted to the U.S. Tax Court and U.S. District Court. He is a member of the New York State Bar Association and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
