Nancy was born in New York City and grew up in a suburb of the City. She comes to Scranton from Rochester, NY where I taught in a Catholic Graduate School for 21 years. She received her Ph.D. from Fordham University and her MA from Duquesne University. Her dissertation focused on the Theology of God of the German political theologian Dorothee Soelle, and had the privilege of meeting her while she worked on her dissertation.
"I am so happy to be a part of Marywood University. I loved my time here as a student and I am thrilled to return as a member of the faculty. My entire ministerial life as an IHM Sister has been in the field of education. Nothing makes me happier than journeying with students as they grow in their understanding of themselves and the world in which we live. I look forward to meeting all who make up the Marywood community!"
