Dr. Renae Courtney received her B.A. in Psychology from Salisbury University and a M.A. in Human Sciences with an emphasis of Grief and Loss from Hood College Graduate School.  She received her Psy.D. from the School of Professional Psychology at Forest Institute, Springfield, MO.  Renae joins us after serving as a Program Director of the Master of Arts in Clinical Psychology at the School of Professional Psychology at Forest Institute.  She is also owner of a private practice where she has provided individual, couple, and family therapy.

Renae is a licensend psychologist in the State of Missouri.  Her research interest pertains to participant engagement in therapeutic environments.  Renae joins us as a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Psychology and Counseling and also as the Director of the Psychological Services Center.
