A Guide to Information Technology at MarywoodSocial ExperienceThe social and extracurricular activities on a campus play an important part in making a more complete educational experience, and technology can play an important role in creating and managing these social communities. Therefore, it is important to understand and appreciate the tools that facilitate electronic communities on campus, allowing for greater communication, interaction, and integration within the broad campus milieu.
All rooms in the residence halls have connections to the campus network and more than 90% of our resident students have computers in their rooms.
With 316 public access computers on campus, the ratio of computers to undergraduate students is 1:5.
Yes. E-mail addresses for students and contact information for faculty and staff are available through a searchable online database. A departmental phone and e-mail directory is also available.
