Description of Duties:

The new Learning Commons will require expert assistance in utilizing all of the equipment therein. This position will be based at the Knowledge Bar on Main floor. The Assistant takes phone calls, answers emails, and helps users in person on technology issues. They work with Help Desk and other User Support staff to ensure the technology is working not only in the Learning Commons but all over campus. They also aid all users in understanding how to use any of the technologies we support. Training will be provided.
