Guidelines for Institutional and Faculty/Staff Professional Web Pages

Elements that must appear on all institutional and faculty/staff professional web pages:

1. Identification/Graphic Image
   Because Web visitors can enter a page directly without going through the Marywood University home page, it is important to let them know where they are. These official sections of the Marywood web site may contain the University wordmark or other symbols of the University. In the least, they should contain the words "Marywood University" prominently on the first screen viewed of each document. Also, all pages must display the University seal as a clickable graphic linked to the Marywood home page (for example, near the bottom of the document).

2. Name of the unit publishing the page

3. Copyright statement

   For institutional pages: © 2006 by Marywood University

   For professional pages: © 2006 by Name of author

4. Name or title, along with the e-mail address of site maintainer.
   It is expected that the maintainer of the site will check and respond appropriately to any e-mail messages received. This mail should be checked daily or, at the very least, a minimum of 3 times a week.
