The School of Social Work

The School of Social Work educates students for advanced, self-critical social work practice. Grounded in the core values of the social work profession, highlighting the right of all persons to dignity, opportunity and justice, and the amelioration of oppression, the curriculum is designed to teach knowledge, values, and skills which promote individual and societal well-being through an understanding of the strengths and potential of all human beings in interaction with a multiplicity of environments. Appreciation of diversity is a keystone to all curricular content. The program promotes integration of the scientific method. |
