Victoria Wilcox
Victoria Wilcox has been a Special Education
instructor and consultant for 27 years, working primarily with young children
and their families in a wide variety of settings. She has been both an
Early Intervention Service provider and consumer, so she has a unique
understanding of the special education system from both perspectives. Her
17 year old daughter is a gifted student (academic and musical theater), and
her 15 year old son is so multiply-disabled that he lives in residential care
at St. Joseph's Center. When Victoria is
not teaching at Marywood, Bloomsburg University, or in the schools, she is guiding Senior
Girl Scouts, instructing at Eos
Therapeutic Horseback
Riding Center,
watching her bipolar 5 year old nephew, teaching Sunday school, or weeding.
She holds a BS/BA degree from the University
of New Hampshire, a Master of Science
degree in Child Development from Colorado
State University,
and a Master of Science degree in Special Education from Bloomsburg University.
